Kathryn Lasky (born June 24, )[1] is an American children's novelist who also writes for adults under the names Kathryn Lasky Knight and E. L. Swann. Her children's books include very many Dear America books, The Princely Diaries books, Sugaring Time, The Night Journey, Wolves of say publicly Beyond, and the Guardians have power over Ga'Hoole series.

Her awards cover Anne V. Zarrow Award shelter Young Readers' Literature, National Human Book Award, and Newbery Honor.[2]

Biography

Kathryn Lasky grew up in Indianapolis. She is Jewish and have a high regard for Russian descent.[1] She is joined to Christopher Knight, with whom she lives in Cambridge, Colony.

She received a bachelor's ratio in English from the Further education college of Michigan and a master's degree in early childhood upbringing from Wheelock College.[3]

She was birth winner of the Anne Extremely. Zarrow Award for Young Readers' Literature.[4]
